4/6/22 Prompt #3

Sssqqquuueeeek! I pulled my car up next to the town troubles bulletin board. So far, I’ve solved a few mysteries from here. They weren’t anything like death mysteries; they were mostly missing pets and things like that. It takes me a while to solve these things, probably because I don’t charge people for my services and am still in high school. There was a time, though, that I tried to solve a missing person case, but someone had found them before I got the chance. As much as I want to, I can’t take any long cases right now. I have a ton of stuff for school to do and a few birthdays coming up. Maybe I could do an issue that is of a robbery? Or I guess I should probably do a missing pet one again. I’d love to do a robbery, but that would take too long, and as I said, I don’t have the time. Plus, there’s none of a theft on here that I could do—just animals and pets. The only reason I wouldn’t do a missing pet one -besides the fact that that’s the type of stuff I mostly do- is that it could either be long or short. It depends on where the pet was lost or what type of pet it is. Maybe this time, there’ll be a more compelling case I could solve. You know, one that is not just finding a cat or dog. Maybe one that has a different, more interesting animal, at least. If you’re wondering, I have no pets except my goldfish. His name is Harry. “Hmm…. dog, cat dog… how did someone lose their goldfish? Dog, cat dog… ooh! A gecko! That’ll be interesting,” I murmured. “Too bad, though. It’ll take a long time to find her. (gender on missing sign) Although, it looks like she’s been missing a week with no idea where she got lost at,” I thought.
