Knowing that many readers don’t like books with multiple POVs (points of view) with different characters, I created a solution to that problem. In one of the books I’m working on, there are different POVs of about 4 different main characters, with a POV of one of the side characters once. I would love it if you guys could vote on one of the solutions (or no solution) depending on what you are comfortable with. From there, I may decide on what I will do. If you have any other ideas for solutions, please put them in the comments section below! Any questions? Ask in the comments section, or on the contact page!
You may answer twice!
Solution #1
There could be a recap section underneath a chapter title, (about a few sentences long) telling of what happened with that character in their last chapter
Solution #1.5
Same thing as solution 1, but it will remind the reader of who the character is
Solution #2
The first paragraph of the chapter could be a quick recap of what and/or who the character is/happened in the last chapter the character had; then flows into the new chapter (without the “recap” word above it).
Solution #3
You are unconfused by books with different POVs, and/or you don’t care what the answer is, or if there is one. (You could also choose Solution #1, that way people could still have a recap, and you wouldn’t have to read it)
